Rick Bacmanski enters his Tenth full season as the Jackals and First Arena's only Official Photographer since the Organization's Inception in the year 2000.

With camera in hand since early childhood, his unique photographic talent is almost instinctive.  This lifetime Horseheads native began to cut his hockey teeth back in 1979 when he shot a NHL Detroit Red Wings game in the former cathedral of "Old Time Hockey," Olympia Stadium in Detroit,MI.

Bacmanski continued to hone his hockey skills while professionally shooting Elmira College Hockey around the area since 1993, with two years as the College's Head Sports Photographer. Also, he once had the opportunity to shoot the New York Rangers Mike Richter, Brian Leetch and NHL great Wayne Gretzky, while covering another NHL contest at Buffalo in 1996.

Mixed in between Jackals Hockey seasons, Spring, Summer and Fall are spent in part, shooting the LPGA Corning Classic Golf Tournament for his Tenth Year as Staff Photographer, and also by Capturing 30+ Regional Wedding face-offs, as the area's Premier Wedding Photographer, through his business...Rick Bacmanski PhotoArtistry, 211 North Main Street, Horseheads, NY 14845.
