Jackals Announce Preseason Schedule with Reading

The Elmira Jackals, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Buffalo Sabres and AHL's Rochester Americans, announced today the team will play a home-and-home preseason series with the long-time rival Reading Royals to open the 2016-17 season.

 

The first of the weekend set is slated for Friday, October 7th at Santander Arena in Reading, PA. The puck drop is set for 7:00 p.m. The next night, Saturday, October 8th, the Jackals will host the Royals at First Arena with puck drop set for 7:05 p.m.

 

The Jackals' home preseason game is free to the public and will provide fans with their first look at new bench boss Dave Leger and the 2016-17 squad.

 

The following Saturday, October 15th the Jackals will travel back to Reading, PA to open the 2016-17 regular season at Santander Arena with puck drop set for 7:00 p.m.
