The Elmira Jackals announced on Tuesday that forward Jack Downing and defenseman Josh Godfrey have been recalled by the team's AHL affiliate, the Binghamton Senators. The 2-0 Jackals host the Florida Everblades at First Arena this Friday at 7:35 p.m.

Downing, a rookie from New Canaan, Conn., had assists in each of Elmira's wins this weekend. He also participated in his first professional fight on Friday against Trenton's Jordon Southorn and was +2 on the weekend.

Godfrey, a fourth-year pro from Collingwood, Ontario, had two assists in the Jackals' victory on Friday against the Titans. He was +1 this past weekend.
