ELMIRA, N.Y. - The Elmira Jackals are opening the doors of First Arena to all the ghouls and goblins of the Twin Tiers this weekend for games Friday and Saturday against the Cincinnati Cyclones.

For both games, which start at 7:05 p.m., the Jackals are offering 50 percent off of a regular-priced walk up ticket to fans who show up in a costume. The half-priced ticket offer is good for any seat in the building except restaurant seating, and cannot be combined with any other offer.

There will be special treats for children 12 years old and younger who come dressed in costumes this weekend. On Friday night there will be an on-ice costume contest in which the top five winners will receive prizes from the Jackals. On Saturday there will be trick-or-treating on the suite level of First Arena from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. The Jackals will provide bags for the kids to collect their goodies in.

Groups of 10 or more are encouraged to call the Jackals and book their tickets in advance to take advantage of discounted tickets and preferred seating based on availability.
