The Elmira Jackals announced their preseason schedule for the 2011-2012 season on Tuesday. The three-game slate includes two chances to see the Jackals in game action on home ice prior to the start of the regular season.

Below is the Jackals' preseason schedule:

Thursday, Oct. 6, 7:00 p.m.: Blue vs. White Intrasquad Game, First Arena
Friday, Oct. 7, 7:00 p.m.: Elmira at Trenton, ProSkate in Monmouth Junction, N.J.
Saturday, Oct. 8, 7:35 p.m.: Elmira vs. Reading, First Arena

The Jackals' preseason schedule begins with an intrasquad game at First Arena on Thursday, Oct. 6 at 7:00 p.m. coinciding with that evening's Season Ticket Holder Pickup Party

On Friday, Oct. 7 at 7:00 p.m., the Jackals will head to Monmouth Junction, N.J. to meet the new Trenton Titans at ProSkate NJ.

Elmira returns home for more preseason action as the Jackals welcome archrival Reading to First Arena on Saturday, Oct. 8 at 7:35 p.m.

Information on purchasing tickets to individual preseason games will be announced later this month.
