The Elmira Jackals announced on Tuesday that they have released five players from their roster. The Jackals host the Trenton Titans at First Arena in the 2011-2012 season opener this Friday at 7:35 p.m.

The following players have been released from their contracts:

F J.P. Martignetti
F John Mori
F Mike Sellitto

The following players have been released from their tryout agreements:

G Corey Milan
G Larry Sterling

Additionally, the Jackals have signed defenseman Donnie Harris to a contract. Harris was in Jackals training camp under a tryout agreement.
