The Elmira Jackals announced on Monday that defenseman Mike Ratchuk has been returned by their AHL affiliate, the Syracuse Crunch. The Jackals had loaned Ratchuk to the Crunch on Wednesday.

Ratchuk, a fourth-year pro from South Buffalo, N.Y., has three goals in four assists for seven points in 12 games with the Jackals in 2011-2012. He was held scoreless in two games with Syracuse last week.

Elmira hosts the Trenton Titans on Friday and the Reading Royals on Saturday at First Arena, with both games starting at 7:35 p.m. Come out and celebrate Thanksgiving with the Jackals!
