ELMIRA, N.Y. - The Elmira Jackals announced today the schedule for their 2013 training camp at First Arena in downtown Elmira, N.Y. All on-ice training camp sessions are free and open to the public.
Players will report for the start of training camp on Thursday, October 3 for physicals, paperwork, and to receive their equipment. On-ice workouts begin the next morning with the training camp group divided into two separate teams. A scrimmage in the afternoon will follow the morning sessions. This year's training camp will span 14 days and include a pair of exhibition games; on the road in Wheeling on October 5 and at home versus Reading on October 12.

9:30 a.m. - Game players depart for Wheeling
7:00 p.m. - Elmira Jackals at Wheeling Nailers
1:00 p.m. - Player and Staff head shots & Media Day activities
Wednesday, October 910:00 a.m. - Full team on ice

7:00 p.m. - Full team appearance at Haunted Empire at Bradley Farms (1543 Maple Ave., Elmira, N.Y.)
Saturday, October 1210:00 a.m. - Full team on ice
Tuesday, October 1510:00 a.m. - Full team on ice
All on-ice sessions are free and open to the public, and are scheduled to take place on the main rink at First Arena. Time and location of on-ice sessions are subject to change. Any on-ice sessions not held on First Arena's main rink will take place at the Ice Pavilion at First Arena.
