Elmira, NY The Elmira Jackals announced today that their trusty mascot Blade will be out walking to benefit Multiple Sclerosis.
Blade is taking a trip out of his den for a good cause this weekend. Sunday, May 7th Blade will be at the Corning-Painted Post East High School for the MS Walk, which benefits the New York chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Sundays MS Walk goes from 9 am til 3 pm and Blade, the trooper that he is, will be there for the duration of the event. Blade will be on hand to support this wonderful cause, to entertain people, congratulate walkers and sign autographs for the children. Registration for the MS Walk begins at 9 am Sunday; the Walk kicks off at 10 am. Distances of 3 miles and 5 miles will be made by the participants.
