The Elmira Jackals announced Wednesday that they have received goaltender Chris Holt from their AHL affiliate, the Binghamton Senators. The Jackals have also placed defenseman Alex Dzielski on waivers.
Holt is 8-4-1-0 with the Jackals this season, posting a .901 save percentage and a 2.85 goals-against average. The Vancouver, British Columbia native made news on Mar. 19 when he became the 10th goaltender in AHL history to score a goal, sending a puck the length of the ice to preserve a 4-2 B-Sens win over Rochester. With the Senators this season, Holt is 16-5-0-1, with a .905 save percentage, a 2.95 goals-against average, and four shutouts.
