Ron Green, and 36 other lucky contestants, was in the Chuck-a-Puck finals, which were held during the second intermission of the Elmira Jackals versus Adirondack Frostbite contest on April 8th. The finalists were picked one per game throughout the Elmira Jackals season. Any fan could purchase a Chuck-a-Puck and attempt to throw that puck into the open passenger side window of a vehicle, provided by Hampton's, which drove around the ice during the second intermission of each game. One puck was chosen per game and the person who threw the puck moved on to the finals. All proceeds from the sale of Chuck-a-Pucks are split between two non-profit organizations: the Elmira Jackals Booster Club and the Elmira Jackals Foundation.
