Jackals forward Frank Littlejohn returned from his AHL call-up with San Antonio Thursday.
Elmira, NY The Elmira Jackals announced today that right wing Frank Littlejohn returned to the Jackals Thursday following his call-up by the San Antonio Rampage of the American Hockey League.
Littlejohn appeared for the Rampage in Wednesdays game in Rochester against the Amerks. He recorded one shot on goal, 2 penalty minutes and had an Even rating as San Antonio blanked Rochester 2-0. The Jackals leading goal scorer this season returns to First Arena for Elmiras team practice Thursday after playing in his 15th career AHL game.
Littlejohn has 42 points (28 goals, 14 assists) in 50 games for Elmira this season. He currently leads the team with 28 goals, 11 power play goals, 7 short-handed goals and 4 game-winning goals. Littlejohns 7 short-handed goals currently lead the United Hockey League in that category. He is the second Jackals player this season to be called up to the American Hockey League; forward Mike Sgroi, who was called up on November 25th, is still on loan to the Binghamton Senators.
