Elmira Jackals hockey fans are advised to be on the lookout as snowmen have been seen invading the Twin Tiers. The snowmen, although harmless to citizens, have been described as "intense and crazy Jackals fans" who have arrived in the area for Jackals playoff hockey.
The snowmen have been seen popping up on street corners throughout the Twin Tiers and are populating at an alarming rate.
Fans who see the snowmen are advised to rush to the nearest phone and call (607) 734-PUCK (7825) to reserve their seats for Jackals playoff hockey. The Jackals host the Florida Everblades in a best-of-five first-round series on Friday, Apr. 9 at 7:35 p.m., Saturday, Apr. 10 at 7:35 p.m. (if necessary) as well as on Sunday at 4:05 p.m (if necessary).
