Friday, September 28, 2012ELMIRA, N.Y. - The Elmira Jackals announced today the schedule and roster for their 2012 training camp. Twenty-eight players will be in attendance at the start of the 14-day camp.
The Jackals' training camp roster includes four goaltenders, seven defensemen, and 17 forwards.
Goaltenders: Nick Niedert, Nicholas Lareau, Bryan Kalczynski, and Joe Spagnoli
Defensemen: Benjamin Dieude-Fauvel, Jarrett Rush, Artem Gumenyuk, Luke Frey, Ivan Lyaskevich, Jeremy Narducci, and Jordon Southorn
Forwards: Corey Bellamy, Yegor Bezuglyy, Brandon Blandina, Jean Bourbeau, Chris Campanale, Tim D'Orazio, Dustin Gazley, Matt Harrington, Kevin Harvey, Chaz Johnson, Alec Kirschner, Kevin McCarey, Jordan Pietrus, Andrew Rowe, Charles Vaillancourt, Jon Vaillancourt, and Kyle Watson
Training camp officially begins on Friday, September 28 at 4:00 p.m. with physicals and team meetings. On-ice workouts begin on Saturday, September 29 at 11:15 a.m. at First Arena's Rec Rink. All practices up until Monday, October 1 are scheduled to be on the rec rink.
