Thursday, February 14, 2013ELMIRA, N.Y. - The Elmira Jackals announced the details for two of their biggest promotions that take place at the end of the month: Donate Life specialty jersey auction and 4 for $44.
On February 23 the Jackals host the Kalamazoo Wings and that night has been designated Donate Life Night. The Jackals are teaming with Donate Life team members from around the Twin Tiers to raise awareness for their cause - organ and tissue donation. The highlight of the night is the special Donate Life jerseys that the Jackals will wear and then auction off live immediately following the game. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Arnot Ogden Medical Center.
During the night there will also be a table set up on the concourse where fans can get information on Donate Life and register to win great prizes. There will be 1,000 commemorative pucks given away by Donate Life at the concourse table, a family four-pack of tickets to a Buffalo Sabres game, and other great prizes.
When Elmira hosts the Wheeling Nailers on February 27th, their final home game before a five game road trip, they will bring back the popular 4 for $44 promotion.
