Ten Elmira Jackals players are participating in Movember as they try to generate awareness for the fight against prostate cancer and other cancers that affect men. People may donate to Movember on behalf of the Jackals at MoBro. Co/ElmiraJackals.
Movember began in Melbourne, Australia and has since become a worldwide event. Starting on November 1st, men start with a clean, shaven face and grow their mustaches for the whole month. In 2010, roughly 65,000 people became involved with the cause, raising $7.5 million dollars.
