PRINCETON, N.J. The ECHL announced that the Win A Trip to the 2009 ECHL All-Star Game contest will begin on Monday and continue until Dec. 31.
The contest gives fans the opportunity to win a trip to the 17th annual midseason showcase of the top prospects in the Premier 'AA' Hockey League that will be hosted by the Reading Royals, the City of Reading and the Sovereign Center.
The 2009 ECHL All-Star Game will be played on Jan. 21, 2009 with the 12th edition of the ECHL All-Star Game Skills Competition being held on Jan. 20, 2009.
Fans can enter the contest by clicking the Win A Trip to the 2009 ECHL All-Star Game banner advertisement on ECHL.com and on the ECHL All-Star Game page.
Entries can also be submitted by clicking the Win A Trip to the 2009 ECHL All-Star Game banner advertisement on the ECHL.com Network.
The grand prize winner and a guest will receive roundtrip transportation and lodging at the Abraham Lincoln, a Wyndam historical hotel, one of the host hotels for the 2009 ECHL All-Star Game. They will also receive complimentary tickets to all events including the ECHL Hall of Fame luncheon, the All-Star FanFest and the Postgame VIP Reception.
Travel arrangements for the contest winner as well as players, coaches and VIPs will be handled by Boscovs Travel, the Official Full-Service Travel Agency of the 2009 ECHL All-Star Game.
The Stanley Cup and the Patrick J. Kelly Cup will both be on display throughout the event, marking the ninth time in the last 10 years that the NHL championship trophy and the ECHL championship trophy have been displayed together at the All-Star Game.
