Reached the finals from a losing regular-season record and were swept by the Muskegon Fury.
The strangest season on the list. The club finished 33-34-9 — a losing record, the only one of the seventeen that produced a finals appearance — and then reached the Colonial Cup Finals anyway, where the Muskegon Fury swept them. Two seasons earlier the same opponent had beaten the same club in the same series in six games. That is both of the club's finals appearances, and both went to Muskegon.
The summary records no head coach, no affiliation, no points total and no divisional finish for the year, so those rows do not appear above. The record and the playoff result are the whole of it. This was also the last time the club reached the playoffs in the United Hockey League: 2004-05, 2005-06 and 2006-07 are all recorded as missed, and the 2006-07 entry notes it as the last UHL season before the move to the ECHL. The finals run here closes the franchise's first era rather than opening anything.
Nothing from the 2003-04 news archive survives. The earliest club release held here dates from 2004, which places the start of the written record just after this season ended — the run to the finals is the last thing the club did before its own releases begin.

No club release from this season survives in the archive. The earliest that do come from 2004, which is why this season is recorded here by its results alone.
