ELMIRA, N.Y. - Tonight the Elmira Jackals wrap up their season-long seven-game home stand by playing host to the Cincinnati Cyclones. It's the first meeting between the Jackals and Cyclones since a 5-4 Elmira win in Cincinnati on January 16, 2014.

The Jackals are facing the Cyclones tonight for the fifth of seven meetings this season, and the second of two at First Arena. The Jackals are 2-1-1 against the Cyclones this season, including a 1-0-0 record on home ice. The home team had won the first three games in the season series, but the Jackals bucked that trend with a thrilling 5-4 victory at U.S. Bank Arena on January 16. Pietrus is averaging a point per game against the Cyclones (1G, 3A) after posting an assist in Elmira's 5-4 win on January 16.
Jordan Pietrus has kicked his offensive production into high gear lately. Pietrus is averaging just under a point per game in March with three goals and one assist and leads the team in goals this month.
