The ECHL playoffs are heating up as only six teams remain in the quest for the Kelly Cup. Tonight at the Nutter Center in Ohio, the Dayton Bombers will host the Cincinnati Cyclones for a thrilling Game Seven match in the North Division Finals, with the winner going on to the American Conference Finals. Friday night in Fort Myers, the Florida Everblades will look to finish off the Texas Wildcatters in Game Six of the South Division Final, while the Wildcatters will be in survival mode, looking to send the series to a decisive Game Seven. If necessary, Game Seven will be held at Germain Arena on Saturday, May 5th.
In the National Conference only two teams remain as both the Idaho Steelheads and the Alaska Aces have advanced to the Conference Finals. Idaho defeated the top-seeded Las Vegas Wranglers in six games, while Alaska swept the Bakersfield Condors in four games. The National Conference Finals will begin on Monday May 7th at Sullivan Arena in Alaska.
