Curtis Tidball Battles In Front Of The Flint Net
The First Arena Box Office has been dealing with heavy traffic this week due to the highly anticipated match up between the United Hockey Leagues first and second place teams in the overall standings: the Elmira Jackals and the Muskegon Fury. On Friday night, the first of what should be an outstanding 9-game season series between the two Eastern Conference Rivals, the Jackals will be celebrating their mascot Blades 7th Birthday. Saturday night is Merry Maids/Dream Home Builders Poster Giveaway Night, where every fan in attendance will receive a Jackals concept poster courtesy Merry Maids and Dream Home Builders. Both games are scheduled for a 7:35 pm face off at the First Arena.
In other news, the Jackals placed two forwards, rookie Bryan Teixeira and second-year forward Jay Latulippe on waivers today, slimming their total roster down to 20 players. Teixeira had 1 goal and 2 penalty minutes in 5 games for the Jackals, while Latulippe appeared in two games finishing with no points and a 2 rating.
The Jackals and Fury will commence the first game of their season series Friday night, November 3rd for a 7:35 pm face off at First Arena. The Jackals will also face Muskegon on Saturday, November 4th at 7:35 pm at First Arena.
