Elmira, NY The Elmira Jackals announced today that two Jackals, forwards Sam Paolini and Tanner Shultz, will be appearing at the Kuts and Stuff For Katrina Hurricane Fundraiser on October 9th.
The Salon, 209 College Ave, in downtown Elmira is hosting the Kuts and Stuff For Katrina a day long Block Party to benefit the victims of Hurricanes Katrina & Rita on Sunday October 9th. Both Paolini and Shultz, new players to the organization, will be on hand from 5 pm to 6 pm at the event to sign autographs and meet all those in attendance for this great cause.
Twenty of the best stylists and barbers in the area will be giving haircuts for donations of $20 or more. Enjoy food, beverages, kids face-painting, mini-chair massages, dance lessons and raffles with prizes including a Sirius Satellite Radio and a Jackals game-worn jersey as part of their effort to raise money for the on-going relief efforts for Hurricane Katrina. All proceeds will go to the American Red Cross and the Salvation Army.
